...going into 21st Anniversary Soul Train Awards
Beyonce is the woman to beat at the 21st Anniversary Soul Train Music Awards. The "Dreamgirls" star leads the field with three nominations, including best female album for "B'Day."
She also was set to compete during the Saturday night award show for best female single for "Irreplaceable" and for the Michael Jackson Award for best music video.
Mary J. Blige had two nominations, one for best single for "Take Me As I Am," and the other for best female album for "The Breakthrough."
On the male side, John Legend, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Yung Joc each were nominated for two awards.
